We were eating at Pepper Lunch on Gouger St on Friday night and someone at another table had Uber Eats deliver them a drink

Well, well....we might have been in there at the same time at some stage.
Great coffee, nice and hot so it's still warm when I get to work at Torrensville and agreed, one of the best coffee places in the west.
You can also try The Grind on Tapleys Hill Road at Hendon if you are in the area, nice coffee there and never nearly as busy as CBTB.
I'm here now. A fair ways from home (north east) but I had to drop a mate off at the QEH so I brought my laptop and remembered this thread. Best thing is that there's a power point on the front wall at the bench seats so I have power to workWanted bacon and eggs somewhere which they don't have here though

Highly recommend

F**kin hate it. How many times do you eat your dinner off a chopping board at home?

It's crap, I've sent food back that's been delivered on a chopping board, it was a piece of salmon, I went to hand it back and went "Hang on a minute" and broke the fillet with my fork "There, now I know you're not bringing me the same piece back".

I’d hate to think what they did to that new piece of salmon before they served it to you again.

Smelt a bit "extra fishy" when it came back...
