Yeah, I saw an ad today for Waterlooville v Preston North End, the grudge match. Great to see such a classic fixture in the early rounds.

Bradford City beat FC Halifax Utd 2-1 at the Shay last night...

Stayed up and watched thought it was going to be a long night after the Shaymen went 1 nil up after 3 minutes... but we ended up scoring 2 goals in 4 minutes in the 2nd half to clinch the win. Was squeaky bum time in the last couple of minutes. Bantams defense cleared a header off the line 3 minutes into injury time...

Onto round 2...

United squeeze past the mighty Yeovil 2-0.
Only a couple of surprises so far, QPR hammered 3-0 by Sheff Utd at home and Soton held 1-1 at home by Ipswich.
Most other results expected

Canbridge 0 - Man U Nil .. Only caught the end of it to see the jubilation among Cambridge players, and understandably so. Sounds as though Man U dominated and you'd expect them to breeze it in back home, but still a great achievement for Cam nonetheless

Played them off the park but didnt create enough chances, really happy for the U's as I have a really good mate that played there a few years back. The money they get from the replay at OT is enormous so in that way im glad they forced a replay
