He should play a reserves side. Just a glorified practice match

In fantasy land if they thought that.
We have won it 20 times and I couldnt care less about it, still probably better than the League Cup though

It's one of the toughest competitions to qualify for on the planet which makes it better than the League Cup.

Yes didn't think of that marty. Hard to make the community shield so
midnight sunday night the game is on ESPN. Of course that ESPN is a yank channel that the coverage headline says " The FA Cup live "

3-0 win to arsenal . Promising signs there considering it was their "B grade" side
If we couldn't beat their b grade then there would be issues
We had a few players out too

Agreed. City played an almost 2nd string and I wouldn't take anything from the game.
Shame how much this match has been devalued over the years. The thousands of empty seats says how much the fans have lost interest

And nearly all of the top tier from what I saw.
Maybe it meant more to Arsenal fans ?
They only have a 20 minute journey, unlike City who have a 4 1/2 hour trip

Arsenal 2-1, not sure there is much interest anymore. Just a final practice match, would think both clubs trot out their B sides
