Valley juniors - 14s straight through to prelim but 16s beaten and head to the semi - was told very windy conditions at Noarlunga and these lads have learnt today it doesn't matter how good you are all year it's about how good you are on the day

Great game in the A grade between shoes and flys... Reynella could have iced the game in the 3rd quarter if they kicked straight...then shoes looked home with not long to go in the last but for reynella kicking 3 quick goals...then a shot just before the siren missing narrowly for the shoes to see Reynella home.

four minor premiers go down at Noarlunga, and the fifth one only had a couple of points to spare. (obviously not a good week for top sides including what happened to Collingwood on Friday).
Main game must have been a good finish. As usual I had to leave at halftime to move on down to see the thriller at Aldinga (first week of finals is so frustrating when I can't be at two ovals at once).
