I find it hard to believe Reynella and Flagstaff hill are unable to field a C-Grade side. With both areas streaming with kids and fielding two successful u/14 and u/16 sides and u/18 side each, why are these kids not moving onto senior footy? Is it because C-Grade is playing on a sunday or other issues?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Playing numbers is Flaggies issue. Struggled for numbers last season, forfeited a couple of games and were forced to withdraw mid-season. Wasn't looking like being any better this year based on pre-season interest, so we didn't bother nominating. Had to clear a couple of players to Brighton because of it, but overall don't think it was a "Bad Call"

I know reynella didnt nominate a team because theres an unnamed person in the club who believes that c grade should not be used a a game to have with your mate they should be a bunch of people that should be putting pressure on the b grade spots.

so where are the hacks like me who just wana kick and or a catch meant to play this is what i believe was ment to be used for.

its because of this thinking that RFC probaly lost 20 players 2 years ago

hey we werent much we played for the jumper we loved we did our best and we knew it below par fitness and performance wise but we had fun and now sadly we and many others at clubs that no longer have a c grade have to leave our club to play the sport we love

ev spot on young people dont want to play footy on sunday. Its that simple but with clubs like cove and m/vale that dont believe in change and cant see the improvement that would come from saturday c grade. But I do believe that a few c grade games will be played on friday nights this year. I know of 6 players that left sfl teams to go an play in the amateur league due to sunday footy. these were kids that are not even 20 yet.

Got nothing against change just don't want c grade to clash with our other 5 games on saturday.

To Go the Punt.

If they want to play Saturday there are several clubs crying out for footballers.

If you choose to not field a Sunday side that's a club decision and not tied to the players.

And yet we still have these clubs getting juniors off the struggling clubs even thought they will have nowhere to play in a few years. 150 juniors doesn't go into 2 strong senior teams..
