Surprise, surprise. One loss and already the excuses come out. From what i saw, you guys were lucky to get that close. Emus 1st half was shocking.

the scores i've seen from this game, morphies had 45 scoring shots, yeh?
so, at a guess, the emus probably had 70 or so inside-50's, of course i could be wrong, but this is just a guess.
so one would be just plain stupid to think that out of the 70ish inside 50's, there wouldnt be a few free kicks given to some emu players in their forward 50.
wouldnt this make sense to most people?

That would make sense TBB. Also with a second half fadeout like that you could also suggest Morphies had superior fitness and were first to the ball. Can be quite hard to attract free kicks when your second to the ball....

Saints were a huge disappopintment. Twelve in each quarter after halftime
I didn't expect you to win it, but thought it would have been a lot closer than that.
Morphies really have Christies by the throat ---- 40's against them two years in a row, and then this 30. Looks like it will be a long time before you can even make them raise a sweat.

The odds are stacking up against the bloke, first the assault charges and now this, Flash can't take a trick at the moment. At least his team is playing well!

Which is what his job is at the saints, they are really happy with the bloke and willing to back him no matter what happens.
Best we stick to footy talk rather than other issues thanks Elf.

footy wise still good player judging from weekend. good in tight and hard to tackle. Discipline can't say the same. Not a good role model for young up and comers...
