20/20 Footy
I havent any news but I was wondering if the 20/20 was being conducted again?? Its a great spectacle! If so who will be playing in it this year hopefully it gets bigger and better with different clubs from different leagues.
Starters i believe if happening
Happy Valley ... ofcorse
Mt Lofty ... Definates to retain their title

Re: 20/20 Footy
Last year it was:
Happy Valley
Mt Lofty
Reynella
Edwardstown (I think)
There are 2 games consisting of 2x20 min halves each Friday night. Each team plays the other teams once and from the results, there is a play off for 1st and 2nd and also a play off for 3rd and 4th.
I'm pretty sure this was the format but I am happy to be corrected.

Re: 20/20 Footy
I've been to have a look a few times and there was a good sized crowd each time. I really gets you in the mood for the footy season to come round again, although it's good to be on the sidelines sinking a few brews on the stinking hot nights!

as a pre season exercise this year we had our own trial of 20/20 at encounter bay all the sides were reasonably matched and was a great way to check the standards of some other leagues. I highly recomend other SFL clubs working towards their own inter-league 20/20

Don't think clubs playing majority of underdone Fringe A-graders in Jan/Feb is a true indication of the standard of the league.....

Re: 20/20 Footy
the 20/20 format is absolutely great and from wat ive heard all teams that enter the competition treat it as a way to sort of see wat some of there junoir and senoir colts are like, i think its a great way to help clubs with there preseason, because when you are chasing a ball you always go hard therefore will get more out of it than a 2hour training session
