5.5 plays 1.5 at HT… Dogs finally managed a few forward entries on the 2nd quarter but lacked composure to take the correct option on a couple of occasions
which cost them goals. Legs running harder, handling the footy cleaner and linking up much better than the Dogs and on a drier day might be out of sight by now.

Depressing times for the Dogs.. can’t see the match trend changing too much in the 2nd half unless the magnets are thrown around and we try something different, as clearly the game plan isn’t working at present.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Totally unacceptable and embarrassing performance and confirmation of how bad we are.
We will be lucky to win 5 games for the season and the wooden spoon looking very likely
Questions need to be asked quite clearly we will go nowhere with the current boys club coaching structure
Skill level appalling by some players cant hit a player 20 metres on their own
Reserves getting smashed again shows we have very little coming through and when we have players like Tattoli ,Posthuma etc who have hardly touched the ball all season and keep getting selected shows where we are at ..

Shows what a terrible performance it was .
Josh Fahey must be wondering what he has done coming from AFL to this
We have lost players from last season as all clubs do and a lot have gone backwards
As it stands at the moment we will have another mass exodus at the end of this season

I call BS,
if you can't or won't name them, then this is just a pointless post & won't do anything constructive for the club.

Have a personal interest to keep the names quiet for the moment.

Point being it's not all happy campers down at the Ponderosa at the moment. I've watched stuff of them play this year but would be surprised if the results turn around hearing the grumblings coming out of Elizabeth.

Sadly, it seems this season is already done and even more sadder sounds like there will be a lot of turnover again at the end of the year.

You knew it was bad when you had players that left this season joking on the socials with other players who had left about getting out of there. That was a massive red flag.

Maybe some of these players are angry because they're not performing!
Maybe they need to have a look at themselves in the mirror!
If this was the case in the SANFL, West or South wouldn't be able to field a side each week!
But they need not worry, Thommo will more than likely leave at the end of this season & those with hearts the size of peas will play on.
Just what we need.

The crazy world we live in you wouldn't call starting now early haha. If you leave it any longer you will be late to the party.

We're just patientily waiting for our 4 boys who played in the Eagles / North game to come home :) :) Zero pointers got to love that.

Sorry for the confusion my comment was in reference to my local club recruiting early and the 4 boys I'm referring to were N.Hayes, J.Hayes, P.Weckert (Eagles) and L.Wilsdon (NA) all locals from the club I'm involved in. Obviously one day we hope that they return to their junior club and play. Who knows when or If that will happen.

From what i'm hearing at Centrals its somewhat coach related but more general in the sense of entire set up down / football department at Centrals. The continuation of a failed system, continuation of same processes, training methods, structures, systems that continue to fail despite the significant player turnover that has happened at the club.

It could just be bitter players blaming others for their poor performances or there could be something in it. I'm not in a position close enough to know. Either way to general chit chat around is its not an overly happy place down there.
