Just wondering if any one else's players are having trouble with this new subscription they have to get to be able to watch their games now ? We have a few players who have paid but it's still not giving them access.

On checking with dart fish this morning only the coach and football director get free access and everyone else has to pay a season fee.

Ridiculous they have to pay when the clubs have to pay to be recorded will this end up like play hq and starts at $20 but in a few years will be charging $50+

I don’t have a life with toddlers keeping me awake. 45c a week over the whole year when I’m out of my mind at 2am and I can access dozens of leagues across Australia is pretty cheap imo. If you don’t like it go to your committee and ask them to add it to your affiliation fees.

We need to keep in mind we don’t pay to get into grounds. $20 or even $50 a year we are way in front imo only.

I'm okay with the $20 subscription, but I'm not okay with how much of a backwards step the streaming platform is; moving away from YouTube. Trying to cast this onto a TV is an absolute nightmare

i believe it takes a fair few hours to be granted access. Normally up to 12 hours. Once granted you should be able to see everything. $20 is relatively cheap but i agree it is likely to increase next year and the following year

What are we paying for though? Half the time the recordings are crap.. or half the games you have to wait forever to get uploaded.

I think it's rough that players/clubs don't get an option on whether they want to be filmed, but have to pay to watch the game if they are filmed.

Not sure Dartfish can handle adding all the extra matches this year.. it's already very slow on the upload.. without being rude, they should prioritise uploads to be A grade matches first.

Depending on their facilities, some Clubs have been asked to provide scaffolding for the recording, too.

I am assuming that the Div 1 games will still be live streamed on a Saturday on the Filming Footy You Tube channel

I assume this means we now can't go and watch reportable incidents posted about on here, unless we pay?

Thats another $20. I accidentally signed up to it as they had the wrong link on the ADFL Facebook post talking about the Subscription to watch the replays of all Games. I have no interest of live streaming Div 1 Games.

The biggest myth in Australia. No right to privacy in a public space.

The distribution can be illegal but even then it has to have a negative impact or be damaging to the person..........you could say that is a case with alot of the footballers on offer :) :) :)

i should've been more descriptive... don't get an option in regard to paying to be filmed.

Anyway i'm over it, move on.. side note, how many games are still not uploaded to Dartfish?

What I'd like to know is were the league aware of the charge at the time of asking every club to cough up more dough and if so, why wasn't it mentioned at the time? or maybe it was and i just don't listen well

or

Did Dartfish come out of nowhere and decide they were now a pay per view service thinking they can make some extra money out of the extra games. Excluding the fact that it is a relatively small cost - i think it's a bit rich for them to charge anything at all to watch mostly sub-standard broadcasts, considering the amount we're paying to have them filmed in the first place.

Im not sure there's been complete transparency here from them.

Is there any way of watching all the old games?
Only things on there seem to be this year's games, between the posts episodes and umpire reviews
