Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 2
he played in a GF at Modbury as a junior, so I would suggest he'd easily have crossed over 20, but I could be wrong. He may have missed portions of that junior year(s), I simply can't recall.

Depends on how well the data was kept up to date prior to PlayHQ. I know my kids had played more games at their original club than PlayHQ says.gadj1976 wrote:that'd be the truth then you'd think!wenchbarwer wrote:PlayHQ has him at 16 games for Modbury - https://www.playhq.com/public/profile/a ... statisticsgadj1976 wrote:he played in a GF at Modbury as a junior, so I would suggest he'd easily have crossed over 20, but I could be wrong. It's accurate, he only played the 2 seasons of juniors - in fact I was surprised it was 16 games, I thought it was less, because he spent more time at NA in the second year and only just qualfiied for finals.

Very true but i think it depends what they class as Junior footy, i know my lad played about 80 games more juniors (U6-U16) then credited for but if you start the games count from U11's its about rightwenchbarwer wrote:Depends on how well the data was kept up to date prior to PlayHQ. Tidied up the rule a few years ago with the number of games, now it's any games played under the age of 18 counts as jnr footy.locky801 wrote:Very true but i think it depends what they class as Junior footy, i know my lad played about 80 games more juniors (U6-U16) then credited for but if you start the games count from U11's its about right

Ha, one of our bigger rivals could pick up my eldest for zero points if they kept better records! The Bedge wrote:Tidied up the rule a few years ago with the number of games, now it's any games played under the age of 18 counts as jnr footy.locky801 wrote:Very true but i think it depends what they class as Junior footy, i know my lad played about 80 games more juniors (U6-U16) then credited for but if you start the games count from U11's its about right

Unley vs old iggies Iggies 6 goals- Sutcliffe and Miller gone will massively hurt Unley- they have welcomed the big fella Josh Miller back. Not sure how many games he will play tho.
Be surprised if it is. Also Unley has recruited well with up to 10 new players, including a handful from Div 1 and Central Districts league ruckman from last year who played in the prelim against the Bays.

some big calls going into Round 1, doubt the grade will be that one sided either however probably 2 clubs may struggle big timehollywood7477 wrote:Modbury vs Westminster- Modbury 10goals

Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 2
I actually have no idea on the Div. I’m just going on what I’ve heard.
All I know is Brighton have lost quite a few so from what I have read will struggle
Westminster coming up against a strong Modbury side who I think are playing their first home game at their redeveloped club rooms.
Broadview have been smashed with departures and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say by mid season they maybe looking for a new coach.
Flinders could actually pinch this one. I still think they play a very good brand of footy and are very well drilled.
I know zero about Iggies. Actually had no idea Unley had recruited well. I just know Sutcliffe has joined Seaton and Ethan Miller left aswell.
Happy to be proved wrong.
