Kensington 1/43 at stumps. Adelaide well placed. It's a lot of runs. Browns will need a big hundred from someone. They seem to bat around Dall a fair bit

Div 2 is all over. Well, let's face it... was all over since October really

Will Glenelg put the Div 2 trophy on display anywhere?

Absolutely, of no benefit to anyone and if that practice continues we are just making it more difficult to develop local product for shield cricket.

Port Pirie Power wrote:Stir in Div 2…. Prospect forfeit their match vs Northerns giving them the full 30 points for the match and putting them back into 2nd.

Unconfirmed whisper/rumour: The player involved in this has been suspended for a year I heard. Wow. May as well moon an umpire for that sort of penalty.

It is on SACA website so official, he got 11 games for lying about having an exam when he was at a wedding in QLD. Riki Boschma from Prospect can’t play till January 2027. Not sure he be welcomed back to the Club anyway.

Could that have been the catalyst for Prospect changing their coach towards the end of the season?

Former player, David Rex is the new head coach at West Torrens CC. Mark Harrity still involved but in a lesser role.
Harry Manenti a huge loss. Very popular and talented figure at the club. Will be hard to replace.

Only 151 runs short of the all-time runs record for WT. Heard he might make a few cameo appearances, but more likely in One-Day or T20 you'd imagine.

If that is Kelvin’s career finished at WT, what a brilliant one it has been. Maybe the greatest contribution we’ve seen from a batsman from the club in its history, dating back to the formation of Hindmarsh CC in the mid 19th century, back when the game itself was in its infancy. Undeniably his feats in the blue and gold sit amongst the very best.

The club has been blessed with talented batsman coming through and making huge contributions in the current era. Daniel Drew and Bailey Capel following Kelvin’s lead.

Hags also, if he’s stepping down as coach, has done a brilliant job. Coming in as the SACA were forced to loosen the noose around the club’s neck and instantly winning the triple premiership. Followed on by sustained success. Rexy bleeds blue and gold and will do a great job. One of the funniest blokes you’ll meet and knows his cricket and has seen first hand what it takes for a team and club to be successful through several eras.

Hopefully the club can continue to recruit class players such as Harry Manenti. These players always make their mark as they chase their professional dream, and give the club a good word when returning back to their home states.

And we look forward to see the which of the next crop of juniors come through and make their mark. The performances in the one day premiership this season perhaps give an indication of the next players ready to lead the club forward on field in Capel and James Reuther.

Seamus Keogh wins cricketer of the year at West Torrens. Took wickets in all 3 formats plus made handy runs in the lower order. Well deserved!

Does anyone know if there will be a grace period for PC clubs to change the West End logo branding on shirts to Hahn?
Although both are owned by Lion, is this officially the end for West End and South Australian cricket?
