Re: Gather Round
I will be attending the 4 night games again:
Thursday - Adelaide v Carlton AO
Friday - Collingwood v Freo AO
Saturday - Hawthorn v Bulldogs AO
Sunday - Port Adelaide v St Kilda AO
Hopefully not too many blow outs this round (despite 6 of the 9 games being "Div 1" vs "Div 2") which together with precipitation this weekend could take the shine off things.

Re: Gather Round
Barring the Hawks/Dogs game you might see 3 ugly matches too. Adelaide, Freo & StK should win comfortably IMO. Swan/Suns will be tight.Trader wrote:Yeah the other 5 seem the ugly ones.

Re: Gather Round
My ideal draw for gather round;
Adelaide v Brisbane AO
Collingwood v Fremantle AO
Port v Geelong AO
Hawthorn v Bulldogs AO
Sydney v Gold Coast AO
The rest can be Norwood or Barossa
GWS v Richmond
St Kilda v North
WCE v Carlton
Essendon v Melbourne
That way, both premiership and runner's up, play Adel teams in Adel at AO. Adelaide playing Bris this year, Port playing whoever wins this year on the Thursday night in 2027.
Despite Carlton' ability to attract big crowds, we deserve to be way off broadway.
This year's fixture is a fizzer.

I'm with Daisy Thomas, I think Thilthorpe will kick more than Carlton. In my mutli I've played it safe and gone for Adel 40+.
We have no forward line, no forward system, no backline and a slow midfield. On top of that, we've left out a grunt midfielder and brought in a tall CHF with 3 games experience.
Other than that we are going well.
