Creek will travel to Lobethal for the GF, having routed Hahndorf for 56 in their pursuit of 112 for victory. Kropp with 54* and 4/18.
The effort with the bat by Kropp to achieve the very rare feat of Carrying his Bat for 54* was outstanding considering that the 1st 3 wickets for Creek in O'Dea, Plant and Clements along with the 1st 4 wickets to fall for Hahndorf in Williams, Allegretto, Salt and Montgomerie ALL MADE DUCKS
That is quite simply an astonishing stat considering the outstanding talent most of them possess.
Caught the final 25 overs or so of the HCA final yesterday. Good crowd/atmosphere.
Aldgate put up a strong 8/214 and had Stirling 6/113 with 10 overs remaining. The Eagles lower order made game of it, as the Gators fielding became a little sloppy. Eventually a tricky skied catch was held to secure an 18 run win with 8 balls remaining.
HCA finals have generally been a much better spectacle than the AEHCA equivalents in recent times, last year being an exception.

Fantastic effort by a young Aldgate group. Well done to Callaghs and the lads. Stirling had a rare poor day in a big game but what a powerhouse club they have become. Yes HCA GFs have been mainly excellent since the meadows dominance ended, baring our embarrassing day last year.
Lobethal remarkable effort with 5 on the trot with a spanking of Langhorne. Not sure theres to much friendliness between the sides going by some of the highlights.
