Week 3. The BIG one.
The one we’ve all been waiting for.
An undefeated South Adelaide take on the luckless Adelaide Crows at Noarlunga this Saturday.
Adelaide are expected to blood some new players, Brock Lee and Corey Ander who will play after a long hot summer that saw them wilt against the Dogs last week. Brock Lee said he would relish his chance to finally play and get to mark it.
Adelaide spokesperson Noah Lott said the squad was finding the travel a bit daunting as they were at Elizabeth last week and Noarlunga this Saturday.
Lott said most of the AFL listed players were not used to having to travel this far week in week out. In the AFL we only play at Home or Marvel or the SCG as an example.

Re: Week 3. The BIG one.
That South list is full of talent and plenty of backup in the reserves, could the longest premiership drought in SANFL history finally break this year suitably in the club's 150th year? But wait....the mid season draft...errr...umm....well maybe?

Unfortunately Will Verrall looks to have a serious knee injury after a centre ball up.
We do not seem to rake a trick with our rucks.

Might have missed Doc's subtlety there..southernbulldog wrote:You dont have any AFL listed players as i said no excuses for South to miss finals this year

But yes, for the first time in a few seasons I feel somewhat optimistic heading into round 1. As Wright made mention in a recent interview, the past couple of years have been focussed on development and now is the time to deliver results.

My guess at a round one side from the trials. I am assuming Verrall will be out and we have not seen Elliot Dunkin or Charle Duncan yet.
