Great club with great people. Im with Chappy I think they might be in trouble. Have heard Place, Evans and Nirta have all left also. Assuming Hall as well.Chappy wrote:I hope you know more than I do.Bluedemon wrote:I would put Kenilworth mid tablewristwatcher wrote:I rate this, Never an easy task and generally people will chime in to inform you what's wrong whilst giving no holistic predictions of their own.beef wrote:Early Ladder Prediction
Salisbury - recruited lots and talking up premierships
Greenacres/ML or whatever they're called. Added to a squad that lost a Prelim
Woodville South - slow start 2025 cost them so should be ready from round 1 after gelling well late. Very good top end talent
Pooraka - continue to recruit Div 1 B graders that normally go well in div 5, Borg back is big in
SMOSH - Haven't heard much but proud club who would want to go back up the div's and got good people involved for it to happen
Fitzroy - seemed to have added to last years div 6 premiership side, Danielle is a good pick up
E/P - heard few leaving, heard signed a few. Quiet on socials so not sure but expect to slide with the losses i do know of (Knapp Warner Wellington Kovacic etc)
Portland - just a guess with no real idea of comings/goings. Very good top end talent, need to add some depth. B grade was horrific last year
Kenilworth - could be wrong here but not hearing anything great and may continue to slide
St Pauls - traditionally struggle in 5 and believe lost a few
My tips without much confidence or too much research at this stage are...
Promotion ; Greenacres and Poorakaraka
Dark horse ; Fitzroy
Relegation ; Portland and Kenilworth
large exodus judging by the socials and I hear they are focusing on a culture shift of people that want to be there.
Crump, Scott, Duong just of the top of my head have gone and id assume a few others in that circle will too.
Great people at Kenilworth so hopefully they hang in their this year, Hope I'm pleasantly surprised. I always look forward to my week trip back to Adelaide to catch up with the people at the club

Crump, Place and Nirta came to them as a package deal so with Crump going the other two will follow

They have struggled to maintain their players for a few years now. To their credit Crump and co have been there for quite some time forming the clubs core and really worked hard for success. Unfortunately for them, they came up short twice in the big dance.

Those blokes have been very loyal so they could never be judged on moving on.
JWK also of to UNI but is well past his best and again has been very loyal to the club.
They wont stay down, There are a lot of people working very hard behind the scenes whether its juniors or just club duties. Sometimes a bit of pain comes before success.
Scott Rayson coaching is a good appointment I believe.

He is a good man. If he gets his son to play they will have the best player in the comp. Louey is a genuine jet.

Bradley has moved across from Unley Jets with Scott with some others that were playing in the B's. Lewis is still in the WAFL for South Fremantlewristwatcher wrote:Chappy wrote:Those blokes have been very loyal so they could never be judged on moving on.

My guess is a Pooraka v Greenacres ML Grand Final to be played at the neutral ground of Harpers Field.

Historically, it's generally been the closest comp out of all the divs

Heard he can’t play too many games due to his Port commitments but AFL to Div 5 you’d suggest he might go ok.

A few games with his mates in C grade
Hopefully enough to qualify
Play finals
Premiership favourites just got stronger
Hearing they haven't finished recruiting yet as well
Gino must've struck oil or writing some dodgy checks. hopefully the players don't try to cash them before june 30

He actually played all his junior footy up to Under 16s at Salisbury (would be 150-odd games), PlayHQ just doesn't show it as it only took over the admin from 2009.wenchbarwer wrote:27 games as a junior, too. Zero pointer
Great to see him back at the club with a couple of old junior mates.

Yeah, I thought that was the case, was a bit of a late bloomer.Pag wrote:He actually played all his junior footy up to Under 16s at Salisbury (would be 150-odd games), PlayHQ just doesn't show it as it only took over the admin from 2009.wenchbarwer wrote:27 games as a junior, too. Zero pointer
