Re: MLB
Forgot to add, Ohtani's award is his 4th, all of them have been unanimous, only player to do it more than once.
He's also now outright second all time for most number of MVPs, behind the 'roid tainted Barry Bonds.

White Sox get the #1 Overall pick in the draft.
I look forward to them trading him in 2 years time and him becoming an All-Star at another organization.

He'll look good in Dodger Blue. Speaking of, free agent reliever Edwin Diaz signs with the good guys for 3 years/$69MBooney wrote:White Sox get the #1 Overall pick in the draft.

Dodgers land the top free agent of this off season, Kyle Tucker, on a 4 year, $240M contract.

Snell & Diaz have deferred money, wouldn't be surprised if some of this is deferred, too.Booney wrote:Exactly why Ohtani deferred so much money....wenchbarwer wrote:Dodgers land the top free agent of this off season, Kyle Tucker, on a 4 year, $240M contract.

Apparently the Dodgers made the entire Ohtani contract money back this season. One of my boys went to Japan late last year, said he's not surprised because Ohtani is everywhere in Japan
