I think that one falls into a would a Div 5 team beat a 1 Reserves debate..

I watched the D1R GF live and the D5 GF last night

D1R would win it - much cleaner skills

the difference between a div 1 footballer & a div 5 footballer is the total distance covered across the whole game. eg: 12kms vs 8kms avg per player

this distance aside they are both just amatuer footballers. lol come at me

Some serious footballers running around in the lower grades who would still take the piss in higher divisions. But a D1R team has 10x the depth of that of a D5 team, thats the only difference.

Yep, this is spot on. I watched Terry Milera taking the piss in D6 a few years ago for Marion, he would have been a D1 standard player easily then.
