Early indications on the weather front looks like a perfect day for it, should be a bumper crowd.

There was a bumper crowd in January 1933 Adelaide Oval

Port v Glenelg got 39k in 2019 from memory, you would think Sturt would pull* more than Port so 45k a chance?

Go blues

This has got 2002 about it. Underdogs, playing better toward finals....We could get beaten by 80, I really don't know.

I would think Bays to comfortably win on Sunday, but being the minor premiers and/or having a bye the week before the GF has been a bit of a SANFL curse in the last decade.

Glenelg were expected to be the comfortable winners in 1975. But then, not-one expected Freddy Phillis to kick 0.6

And Bays fans would need no reminder about a couple of years back, following 17 minor round wins on the trot.

HEAD: "Bays by 20-30 points."

HEART: "Bays by plenty."

BOOKIES: "Bays $1.40"

HISTORY: "Hold my beer..."

No sane Bays fan would ever approach a grand final with complete confidence. Sturt fans would be rubbing their hands together knowing that their opponent on Sunday will be the biggest grand final schmucks in the history of the league.

I said to a few colleagues of mine last night, the range I have in my head is Bays by 80, or Sturt by 6. If Sturt play their optimal performance on the day, I think we can sneak over the line but if we don't and the Bays get hold of us, look out.

Think the Blues might need to channel their 1976 spirit for this one. Anything can happen in a GF, but think the Bays comfortably and Sturt would wanna be in touch at halftime or it likely gets ugly. Still, the Blues are a very spirited club so I probably shouldn’t underestimate them. Hopefully a good, hard, well contested game no matter the result.

That weather condition could have suited the Legs as well. The margin could have been different for either team. No guarantee that North would have won if the weather conditions was different.
