Interesting that you can be so high when my team is still a long way from optimal (no Ziebell or Stewart for example), the difference from being ranked 12th or 1200th may just be a couple lucky decisions
Enough of this false modesty! Tips! Give us tips!

1 Subscribe to Moreira's Magic and take his advice 2 Follow CBA (centre bounce attendance) movements - almost as important as scores for predicting future scores of midfielders 2 Every single player in 30 is important so make sure no dead weight with starting team 3 Trade hard and early but only to players who are underpriced - key is to be a week ahead of the pack with upgrades 4 Have some luck - this will happen once every 4 or 5 years if you play well and don't do anything silly
I've been lucky this year trading in Bont, Petracca, Day and now Merrett on the week just before they had a huge score and started to get expensive
5 most importantly follow MAY-Z's advice who told you to get in Petracca when you did and Merrett
6 Ignore Mayz when he says that Sheezel is no good

Of course Oliver is out too and Laird is under an injury cloud

I have Clarry, LDU, Knevitt, Simpson, Cincotta and Sharp. Some of the lesser lights were brought in to generate cash and they didn't play well enough to retain their spot and I'm not trading out LDU or Clarry or i'm stuck with some of the duds I've got now and I'll get relegated. Yep, have Laird as well. I don't even care if he's out now because it won't make any difference. My week is over and as long as I can suck it up for a bit I may just save my season but how far Groover this week.

No trade week sounds good mate! May we ride out this shitstorm of a week together!
3 weeks, 3 hamstrings. Going about the same as Geelong right now. The Captain was ordinary but stIll beat me easily. Going to be a horror show when I play the mighty Ecky.
Down to 8th this week. No Sicily hurt, with 8 of the others in the top 10 having him, with 7 of them having him captain.
But that might even out next week if he takes the 1 week suspension and that gives others donuts or forced sideways trades.

Yep, no Sicily did hurt. I liked it better when Blanck was out and Sicily wasn't free to run around doing as he pleases. Wish I jumped on instead of getting Stewart when I did.

The Ecky Show has continued on for the 9th week in a row with another solid win, this time over a plucky Sharks. The big match of the round was between Far Callers and George and it has emerged that Ron Burgundy's boys are the main threat to Ecky so far this year. While Ecky's domination has been a bit Max Verstappenesque, elsewhere on the ladder there a few upset results as the true even nature of the competition revealed itself.
First cab off the rank was the battling JOBBY who got the better of top eight HORNEY Berry while stablemate DAISY chimed in with an impressive victory over the highly rated Inner Sanctum. The Roosters put in a good shift to squash the two time reigning champs withe Feenix being particularly Mediocre this week. Poon, Delicious, and even FISH are in form while REBCats, Clots and especially Richo are not. Very tight from top to bottom and here come the BYES!
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, the Sharks top score for the round and the real Shark, dual premiership winners Mediocre at Best are somehow back in the top four. I’m not quite sure how Feenix managed this feat because his scoring hasn’t been all that brilliant but all you can do is beat the one in front of you and he’s done it enough times to once again be sitting in one of the prime positions.
Of course it’s all about Ecky this season but it’s been all quite on the fantasy board from the Eckster so I’m tipping rankings wise it wasn’t such a good week for him. Even if that was the case, Ecky certainly did enough to secure to beat fellow top eight side Captain Who, a side that has been very consistent this year. Mr T pities the fool that has to face Ecky next…..oh shit.
It was a good week for those duds Poon Army who have somehow stumbled their way back into the top eight in a manner of a lucky drunk at a pub with no bouncers…he somehow keeps getting in. That sort of carry on can’t continue indefinitely surely. Inner Sanctum, HORNEY and Delicious a bit wobbly while several teams in the bottom half of the ladder in Roosters, REBCats, DAISYSDUDS and Hondo all got vital wins to keep their seasons alive. FISH suffered a frustrating set back and once again was taught one of the golden rules of SuperCoach – don’t pick Jordan DeGoey. DeGoney’s inevitable suspension gives the FISHy one all the excuses he needs to trade the underperforming plonker but the loss to DAISY has seen FISH lose his recent gains. The bottom three teams are also looking wobbly. JOBBY is batting well but not making runs while Richo Richo must be wondering where his next win is coming from, if he’s not, I certainly am. You’re going bad when you are scoring less than me. Chops are another team that is struggling and being a win behind 17th with just 2 out of 10 is not the results that Clots were expecting when they put their team together back when we all rated Carlton.
The bye weeks normally sort the comp out a bit but one thing hasn’t changed…Ecky v Who in the Granny? It would take a fair effort by Ecky to miss out this year as he has in the past.
Clarry OUT. Dang, and I had Ecky right where I wanted him as well. Good thing LDU is back....oh yeah he's out too. I must be the only clown stuck with that dud on the bench. I've earned massive karma points for keeping him, hopefully I collect and avoid relegation and not firing him like i usually do. Is just a little bit of luck too much to ask ffs??
A 5 point loss to the mighty Ecky because I picked the wrong captain for the 56th time in a row. I swear you can subtract 30 points from a bloke's score when put the vc or c on them. This week it was Dawson and English to cop the curse. Ugh. Two games that's cost me this season.

Yep it's tough to get it right sometimes. Pendlebury and Dangerfield were great options in their heyday
A bit of a heartbreaker for my REBCats as we fell a mere five points short of slaying the Dragon Ecky's Fevolas during the second bye week of Premier League action. At the other end of the ladder Chops Clots were on the right end of another five point win as they won a vital encounter with struggling JOBBY. it was a 17 point win for the Captain and 29 point win for George to round out the close games for the round.
A couple of teams had a complete wipe out this week. The Sharks have been solid this season but they failed to crack 2000 as they were well beaten by FISH in the Oceanic derby. The Roostes and Hondo also came a cropper while Richo's lean run continued for another run as their point scoring has well and truly dried up. Richo has hit rock bottom and it's hard to see where their next win is coming from. Now I've said that pencil a win in for Richo in the next two rounds.
