Mixed feeling from me with Ange Postecoglou being announced as Spurs coach head coach being both a Spurs and Celtic fan.

Spurs are arguably the most laughed at Premier League team that has little respect from opposition fans, you’re getting a bloke that may change that.
Celtic will be fine.

Ange won’t find it easy now he isn’t in a donkey league where only 2 teams can win it each year.
They will turn on him very quickly if he can’t get Spurs competitive

Finally the Reds fork out some good money on a proven EPL player. Caicedo, MacAllister and Szobozlai will create all the chances we need to challenge City, while Poonited spend 80mil on a 9 goal striker

Harry Kane has reportedly agreed terms to join German giants Bayern Munich leaving a hole to fill for new Spurs coach Ange Postecoglou ahead of the Premier League season.
While there's been no official statement on the transfer, Tottenham accepted a $AUD168 million bid from Bayern for Kane, with reports stating the star has agreed to terms with the team and has been given the green light by Spurs to conduct a physical with his new team.

As a Spurs fan I'm stoked with the deal. Would have got nothing for him in 12 months with the possibility of him playing for another EPL club.

It's a bit over the top. Maybe Ange wouldn't get so much attention from the Australian media if Australia had some players playing in top tier leagues, but that ain't the case unfortunately. You can also understand the initial optimism from Spurs fans after years of post Poch dullness.

In fairness all of Australia should now barrack for Spurs. If you don't you're a traitor and need to leave the country immediately.

Quite right.
If you live in South Australia you should barrack for Adelaide United. . If you don't you're a traitor and need to leave the state immediately.

Close.
Adelaide City.
Adelaide United would be the last team we'd barrack for as they stabbed our great proud successful historical club in the back.

Re: EPL 23-24
It is the 'stabbed in the back' part that you need to elaborate on.
City pulled out due to continued participation in the NSL being financially non-viable for them, then the local federation and some businessmen got together and formed Adelaide United.
I recall Bob d'Ottavi being frustrated that United were able to attract the corporate support that City by then couldn't, but to suggest that City were stabbed in the back by an entity that was not yet in existence requires some mental somesaults.

Look at the people involved with that "entity" and what they got up to before their "entity" came about.
No mental somersaults required, just a good memory.
Anyway back to the topic at hand, a nice 9pm Adelaide time kickoff Saturday night for Australia's own Spurs at Bournemouth this week. Meet up at the Ark. Continue on this unbeaten streak and they might get a statue next to the Matildas!

Lol, what a complete cop-out. If you're making a claim at least be a little specific. Feels like I'm reading a bigfooty rumour thread.

The Spurs away top for this season I ordered got delievered today, absolutely sensational but I suppose if Nike kept throwing darts they had to hit the dart board eventually.
Love jerseys with a collar, the iridescent emblem is a nice touch and having the sponsor in blue instead of red is soooo much better!

Half way through round 3 and only one team has a 100%record (Man City). Remarkable.
