I don't really mind 18 or 20 teams. Have you thought about four up (preliminary finalists) and four down (bottom four at end of minor round) to get more turnover, and to see more coaches squirming near the relegation zone

Yes that's probably the better way. I've been squirming near the relegation zone for a decade.

I've only ever been a lower division scrubber and always will be due to my laziness. If the AFL expands to 20 teams then expand the SuperCoach leagues to 20 teams, but for now leave the leagues at 18 - after all we're meant to be pretending to be AFL coaches.

Prefer to stay with 18 teams until AFL expands to 20 but open to go with the flow like the 4 up 4 down proposal that was mentioned in another post
