The Tasmania JackJumpers have announced the signing of their inaugural head coach Scott Roth current Perth Wildcats assistant coach and former NBA player and NBA assistant coach too.

Also the 36ers have announced the signing of Owen Hulland as a development player for this season. The 7'0" F/C impressed in pre-season games against the Bullets and had been playing his college ball at the University of Hawaii.

The NBL have announced a revised schedule for Round 1 with all games to take place in SA & QLD.

ROUND 1

Friday January 15
Adelaide 36ers v Melbourne United, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 7.30pm

Saturday January 16
Brisbane Bullets v TBC, Nissan Arena, 5.30pm (TBC)

Cairns Taipans v Sydney Kings, Cairns Pop-Up Arena, 8pm

Sunday January 17
Adelaide 36ers v South East Melbourne Phoenix, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, 3pm

Monday January 18
Cairns Taipans v The Hawks, Cairns Pop-Up Arena, 7.30pm

All times are AEDT. Games will be broadcast on SBS VICELAND, ESPN, SBS On Demand, SKY Sport and Twitch.

Also tonight in the final pre-season game the Cairns Taipans beat the Adelaide 36ers 96-88 in Cairns. Top scorers for the Taipans were Kouat Noi with 22 points and Cameron Oliver with 21 and for the Sixers Donald Sloan scored 24 and Daniel Johnson added 19 points.
