My wife’s Grandmother was born and lived in Inneston before the town was deserted and they relocated to Coobowie so I’ve spent a bit of time down there with her when she was alive. A beautiful part of the state

Small world.
My fathers side is from Corny point (before it was a town!).
The home of BELCO chalk, as seen in every classroom (at least when I went to school).
Sure is a beautiful part of the state. Those early pioneers did it tough. I stayed in the old town a few years back with my youngest daughter and really enjoyed walking out to Stenhouse along the old railway.
