Strangely tonight I was listening to my Spotify list and it randomly played two songs in a row that my partner thought started exactly the same. I don’t hear it but use are going to be the judges

First song was: The Cure- Lovesong

Second song was: The Church- Under the Milky Way

Thoughts??

Apart from the tempo, a similar strumming pattern, and the timing of chord changes, I think there's enough differences in both of these songs to tell them apart.
