EPL Season 2017/2018

If there was an award for the nicest team in the league, Burnley would win it hands down. Not only did they take their foot off the gas, they took the key out of the egnition to ensure Arsene went out with a bang. The only thing missing was butt buddy Lee to make it a perfect day.

Even the stay away’s turned up today to add to the hypocrisy of the Merci Arsene Tee Shirts. They must have worn them inside though as only last week they read **** off Wenger You French twat.

Anyway, the Gunners finish a creditable 6th, good effort whilst the Clarets have to settle for a disappointing 7th and Europa qualification

Terriers got a point at City, who were too busy celebrating their league title.
Southampton’s point and superior goal difference lifts them out of the bottom 3.
Baggies won again to keep the thinnest of hopes alive but considering the Swans still have to play the Saints, even the greatest optimist must be resigned to sticking two fingers up at Wolves as the pass by in the other direction.

The Swans v Saints is, in football cliche’s, ‘massive’. But a loss to either might not be the end of the world. Both have a superior goal difference, Swansea’s last home game is against all ready relegated Stoke whilst the Saints take on a City side already on holiday. Terriers however have Chelsea who might still be in the hunt for a CL spot thanks the WBA, and a Gunners side buoyed by the generosity of the Clarets. Did t be surprised to see Huddersfield filling that last spot.

If the saints do survive, maybe this will act as a wakeup call to stop selling their best players. They’ve got away with it for a few years nos but this year haven’t been able to replace the losses.

They gave Mason the 4th Official’s job today. He was too emotional to take centre stage and just needed to be near his hero. They were snogging in the technical zone at one point. You might not have recognised him as he was wearing one of those Merci Arsene Tee shirts

Yeah, one Taff club in the EPL is more than enough.

Well done Terriers

Much rather have them than a shitty trip to Swansea
Especially as we have a shitty trip to Cardiff to look forward to next year

As for the playoffs, Fulham is a lovely club, with maybe the nicest fans in the league after us. Always enjoy an away game there, fans mix freely before the game and at half time. Financially Villa would be a better choice but I like Fulham better
