Given Payet's late return from the Euros and our depth at his position.
I can definitely see him coming off the bench for the game or two while he gets up to match fitness.

While I don't think he will start the Chelsea game. I fully expect him to come on for the last 20 or so and grab a goal and an assist for himself.
Such is the level of his wizardry.

Spurs sell Chadli to West Brom but have signed Kevin-Georges N'Koudou.
I think I'll just call him Kev

Re: Confirmed Transfers - 2016/2017
Stoke have signed a season long loan deal for Wilfried Bony from Man City in one of the better acquisitions during the window... he could be pivotal in Stoke actually scoring some goals this term! Also a loan for Dutch CB Martins Indi fromm Porto, Lee Grant (GK) from Derby and a 17yo LB from Luton Town.
Hopefully the two major signings in Bony and Martins Indi can slot in and make a difference. Bony excites me to be honest!

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Re: Confirmed Transfers - 2016/2017
I disagree on Bony
Looks set on a huge money deal in January with a Chinese club.
Will only be using to Stoke for match fitness and will have one eye on protecting the big dollars
Just my opinion but will be interesting to see how it pans out

OK, I wasn't aware of that, hopefully for the Potters' it doesn't impede him.
I was thinking more about some of the strikers the mega-wealthy clubs have parted with (Sturridge, Lukaku) and how well they've performed when they moved on.

Agree his a great talent but mentally and physically considering the lack of football he has had I reckon he will take a month to settle in and then could be gone 8 weeks later
Is a sure thing to score against the hammers though

Confirmed Transfers - 2016/2017
Memphis Depay, United to Lyon, £18m rising to £22m with bonuses
United have also placed a buyback clause on him in case he turns out like we had hoped

Memphis Depay turned down a move to Tottenham a season before signing for Manchester United.
Explaining his decision he said; "I told myself to aim higher, you know?"
Today Depay has moved to French side Lyon - currently 4th in Ligue 1. In his time at United he never finished higher than Spurs...

He won a piece of silverware at United at least[emoji57]
Still time for him to come back if he pulls his finger out and stops being lazy
