Some of Zlatan's pressers have been hilarious. He knows he is good and isn't afraid to tell people about it.
There was also a massive banner put up at the Arndale Center right near the Man City superstore welcoming him to Manchester

They need to be careful doing things like that.
Man city might just buy United and make them their reserves outfit.
As for Ibrahimovic, how old is he again.....34 is it. Great deal for him, £225k a week at 34, he is really going to bust a gut for the team. It's a lovely retirement present from United, £11.2m for one final year. He must be laughing all the way to the bank.

No, that'll come next year when he goes to China for double what he's getting this year

Zlatan hasn't come to United to have a muck around kick. All of his team mates at PSG last year still said he was the hardest worker in the squad and treats every game seriously. He is too proud to play half arsed and if he could somehow get United back to the top his status would be sealed for life

James Tomkins to Palace for 10mil
Hammers laughing all the way to the bank, the bloke was loyal and serviceable but is essentially our fourth choice centre back

Not a fan of Tomkins?
Laughing all the way to the bank?
Good move for both club and player. While I rate him above Collins, he's certainly behind Reid and Ogbonna when they're fit and with the two Reece's coming through, we needed to move someone.
But he is definitely a quality premier league centre back though, and if they keep Dann, those two will form a pretty damn good pairing.
So £10m is fair money, maybe even slightly low in the current transfer climate, given he is English too.
Certainly not "laughing all the way to the bank" like we've ripped them off.

Re: Confirmed Transfers - 2016/2017
I think 10 mil for a bloke that has been at the club for five plus years and never established himself as regular starter in what has been an ordinary team at times is a great deal for us
In context we paid
Payet- 12 mil
Ogbonna- 11mil
Creswell- 3.75mil
Lanzini- 9.4 mil
Antonio- 7mil
Kouyate- 7mil

Will you sell Mata now or will he just play more centrally? Surely Memphis is gone?
Martial ibra mkhhitaryan, with Rooney Mata schniederlin in the mids looks a shit load better than this season

Would rather get rid of Rooney than Mata but Jose believes Mata struggles in some key areas so he will be the one gone.
Still got a heap in the transfer kitty still so think probably 1 or 2 new players to come in still

Re: Confirmed Transfers - 2016/2017
Stoke have signed Egyptian wonderkid, 19yr old 'Ramadona' Sobhi from Al Ahly for £5M. An attacking left winger with some good footwork and lots of potential, was the youngest ever player capped for Egypt at 18 and has scored for his country. A good prospect and insurance in case Arny ends up leaving.
Also signed Joe Allen from Liverpool for £13M. Not a bad deal, maybe slightly overs but will play our possession game that hughes has introduced and hopefully can help us make the next step into Europe!

I know it's not the basketball thread but I'd be interested to see what Dwyane Wades jersey sale numbers have been like since it became available. I had a look on the FOX Sports America Store and the only ones available were 2XL and XL

Yep and hence why United are not fussed about spending over 100 million on Pogba as conservative estimates have the club recouping that money in a matter of months from shirt sales and advertising
