I've always liked the idea of taking one player off every 5 mins till a goal is scored. Never seen it touted though.

Anyone else remember the old shootouts the NASL had to decide draws?
Was like Ice Hockey a bit, had 5 seconds from a line outside the penalty area to score a goal , could dribble, beat the keeper, etc.
That was different!

Yep that was funny.
I'm a fan of just playing until they drop. Maybe take a man off every 15 minutes

gold goal would never work in CL or most football games. You could be at the ground for hours or days lol if none could score.

penalities suck yes but not much else you can do

I don't agree, would bet 95% of games would be won in a second extra time period. I see too many sides shut up shop in extra time and try to get it to pens, take away that option and players will go for it more. Fatigue would kick in eventually leaving holes at the back. At worst I reckon it may go for another hour

Brendan Rodgers off to a brilliant start as Celtic Manager.....

Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps beat Celtic in Champions League qualifier

Basically beaten by the Equivalent Australian NPL Division 3 side......

Terrible result by Celtic but reckon that media outlet has been taken for a ride, some of those "facts" are just utter rubbish and not true

Surely they will get it done in the return leg at home
