I'm up in Queensland at the moment.... Just caught a bit of the local news where reporters spoke to residents in Palmers electorate.... One of themsaid... Palmer has been a disappointment and a joke of a politician... What they couldn't see that BEFORE they elected him.... Bloody red necks! :oops:

was it a protest vote from right wingers that would never vote labor after Newman left a bad taste in their mouths in the state government?

Yes in part I think Benny... Talking to a few of my customers up here at the time, they weren't happy with Campbell so I reckon that played a part... Mind you they didn't go back to KRudd either.
