Adel Lutheran.. Ingle Farm.. Woody South.. Fitzroy... Mawson Lakes.. Houghton..

Means we will all be able to hate on each other an extra 6 months of the year!

Not many left at Rose Park that still play for Mawsons, I can think of 1.

What happened to Central United?

I'm pretty certain carey has a secret love infatuation for Rose Park/Mawson Lakes.

Central United gone to D7

The great man played a game for Mawsons once from memory.

Trial Vs BOS at Kilburn. Looked the part and got some touches

What a pleasure he was to Coach. MLFC are still looking for that Number 1 Guernsey I believe.

With the BOM forecast hovering at 39 currently.. wonder how many sides remembered about the reserve day Sunday, and more importantly wonder how many will be affected if they have to play Sunday..

I wonder what the decision would be if an umpire was unavailable for the reserve day? Would they find someone else, would teams umpire themselves?

Rose Park would have to forfeit as we go to the 1pm Church session on a Sunday

The A grade get the week off this week, playing Enfield who continue to find ways to make batting look hard - bowled out for 94 against NEK.. 64 to Hancock and 8x sundries.. 22 runs amongst the other 10 batsmen

Last 3x games for Enfield batting has produced totals of 83, 83 and 94

Looking at 94 this week then?

Weren't far off being right again LM. 93 I think it was.

Certainly made us work for the win. Particularly with Keylock missing and Hancock out early. We were all Medium to well done by the time we finished.

I thought we paced our chase reasonably well for most of the day - we just failed to find that next gear after the tea break.

Also think, looking back perhaps we weren't so good in our chase - we played looked to see off Clarke and Uern, but unfortunately they bowled almost exclusively all day (26 overs each), and we didn't get that opportunity to face the change bowlers and attack them. Credit to Rose Park, they didn't give our batsmen many loose ones all day, and the ones we did get we couldn't put away or got us out (think two wickets to attempted pull shots).

Losing me at the start of the day and Hancock cheaply hurt as well, lost two players capable of keeping the score ticking over, and even more with Hancock because when we did need to start lifting he was already in the sheds.

Think we also shot ourselves in the foot by batting Brasser and Mansueto together - especially after Mead batting so long - we should've sent Feltus in earlier to give him more time and opportunity to get into his innings, and reserved Mansueto to replace Brasser when he got out. As a result, the Brasser/Mansueto partnership saw the run rate creep up to 6 rpo.. poor kid works hard but it's either a boundary or nothing - not many singles on offer.

Well done to Rose Park, better side overall, and will be hard to beat in the GF.. we probably did well to only be chasing 150 and not 250-300 week one.

Talking to George Saturday, and he had an interesting thought.. What's peoples thoughts with Grand Finals being played at a neutral venue outlined at the beginning of the year, dependant on quality of ground and facility? Using the grounds that have club rooms/change rooms etc. For instance this weeks Div 1 GF being played at Terama instead of St Pauls.

Personally I reckon you finish high enough to earn that little incentive of playing home, you deserve to play where you like.
