Who the hell chose this strip? Why wouldn't you go with the all black, this is freaking disgusting.

I like the black clash strip, no idea why they've gone yellow. Do they hope having another state colour on the pitch will help boost tourism?

Not sure a game between two minnows deserves its own thread

All the Australian fans probably wishing Sterling was still around so they could abuse and throw projectiles at the selfish little brat. Reminds me a little of Samir Nasri when he wanted out.

I reckon we need some mileage in the legs of our better players, so those that came should see decent minutes (Henderson, Skrtel, Mignolet, Lallana, Can, Ibe etc). Firmino and Coutinho didn't make the trip and they're (hopefully) our two most creative players.
Many non-Liverpool fans would question how good a team we're putting on the park even at full strength lol (and fair enough too)

Re: Adelaide United v Liverpool
Couldn't think of anywhere in the world i would rather not be than Adelaide Oval tonight.
But good-luck to the fans of both sides, events like these are great for football in SA and will only help build the game in the state and country for years to come.
Hopefully both teams come out and play attacking football and give the crowd some entertainment.
So much to get excited about in Football Australia at the moment.

I reckon there used to be a better atmosphere at Adelaide Rams games, only time a song was sung was when the muppets were prompted through the loudspeakers, same happened in Brisbane.

Yeah, could hear a pin drop most of the night. Australian's just aren't aclimatised to football yet. Even when there was over 95k at the MCG when United was here a few years back the crowd made as much noise as what you would get at a conference game in the UK with 1200 people. We are slowly learning though
