Me too mate, reckon plenty have failed over the years, particularly those that have arrived with a bit of fanfare. Hopefully the Bundesliga is better grounding for the move than some previously.

The name sounds familiar is that the same lad that played for you a couple of years ago? Thought he went ok
Yep that is the one... 4goals in 20odd appearances I think it was. Is about 22 years old I think. After the loan spell with Everton he went back to Barcelona (never started a game but came off the bench) and then was loaned to Sevilla for a season but didn't even make their subs bench for the Europa Final so a bit sceptical. Everton maybe a good fit for him?

Apparently had the most assists in the French first division last year
Pretty pumped with our two signings so far
Payet not confirmed yet. All but though.
Sullys lad was on Twitter last night saying there was multiple players undergoing medicals. Payet and Song believed to be the two.
Pretty good hammers source on Twitter also said that once those two are done, all attentions go to Cabaye and Remy. Jenkinson will be sorted too now the U21's have been knocked out.
Be a pretty epic window for the hammers if all those deals come off.
Payet now official to West Ham. Always skeptical of players coming from the French leagues. But all stats/signs point to him being an absolute cracking signing. Fingers crossed he doesn't flop.
A couple of decent signings for the Foxes: Robert Huth on a permanent move firm Stoke (no real surprise there) and Japanese International striker Shinji Okazaki from FSV Mainz.
JK wrote:Apparently Liverpool have signed Firmino from Hoffenheim. I don't recall ever having seen him - Is the hype justified among LFC supporters?
We were after him but he wanted guaranteed starting time. Good player, very agile attacking mid, has done very well in a top notch league. Should be a very good signing
Cheers mate .. Most LFC Supporters believe that through this deal alone we've already done well better than last Summer, with so many "developmental" types brought in that really did fuggall.
always skeptical of Brazilian players coming into the EPL after being a gun in another league. Robinho comes to mind.
dont players have a say in transfers these days now ? Yes its to do with what the club wants and what is offered for the player but if the palyer has come out and stated this then surely he wasnt forced to sign the deal ?

One problem, we didnt want him. He wanted to play CL. Van Gaal looked at him several times but decided he wasnt the right fit. Players still have a choice but Liverpool were the only ones to ask for him so he had a choice of stay at Soton or go to Liverpool
