They'd be the worst if they actually got any of their shit policies legislated.

So far I think the SA government has done more harm than the Feds - the current libs or the earlier Rudd/Gillard ALP.
The only thing they've done better in SA is propaganda delivery.

horseshit

The senate is the only thing stopping this government from gutting every major institution in Australia

It depends really.

If say you have a pm that belittled the independents and uses more bully boy tactics than anything else its possible to get a senate that will block everything or make this said pm and government negotiate on ever term to get anything through. That could be seen as a bad senate even though the pm and gobernmet probably had it coming.

Still it can be argued the senate is just doing its job. Either way its a difficult situation for a government that needs to certain policy through to sort out the proposed budget.

so if the labor party was in power and everything was being blocked in the senate that they propose because they dont have the numbers in the senate then you would have the same feeling ?

Doubtful

Didn't support their offshore processing, and didn't complain when it didn't get thru. Just one example.

There will be no change until the next election, but this government has already started the prep for this. Basically they are running with Electioneering 101. They will deliver a surplus at the next election and sprout how good they are and its simple how this will be done. First budget after the election be get belted, I mean hammered. All the pain comes in this budget because at the end of the day they dont give a **** what we think of them. They'll probablly spin whatever they can to blame everyone else, but at the end of the day this is the base.

Next Budgets will be much nicer and leading up to the next election if will be a delight with lots of happiness involved. The surplus will return and they'll run to the poles on this basis.

In the mean time they dont give a shit about the economy, its all about get re-elected.

Election promises lol

And as for change, well this is the change remember and we as a country voted for this.

That pattern you describe reminds me of the Paul Keating technique.
Tax cuts "L. A. W. Law!" for example.
