Seeing as they are two international drivers they'll probably be in the wall by mid race

Watched both races on the weekend. This might be a bit biased because Im a Frosty fan, but I cant believe Lowndes wasn't given at least a drive through penalty for rejoining the race when it wasnt safe to do so.

Fair enough, he got spun by Frosty in some tight corners, but to accelerate into the side of Winterbottoms car and pushing him straight into David Reynolds has to be a dumb move. Could've ended the day for at least 3 drivers.

Anyway, since Whincup has been dominating the sport, its become boring to watch anyway.

he needs to move on, like ambrose. He left for bigger opportunities and give the other young talent a shot now.

V8s are back on Ten next year. Thank **** for that! I hated it being on 7. At least 10 will show it live every race, not put it on at midnight when you already know who won.

Heard a rumor that the Penske Racing team are deep in negotiations to buy DJR. Dick is being a bit cagey tho & if he doesn't play ball, then Penske will bring a new constructor into the series. Given their roots & past link to Chrysler/Dodge could that be it?

Would be good to see someone other then 1 Volvo amongst the big spending General Motors teams. Maybe it's one final play to finally make this series interesting.

Was it Penske or RPM, who Marcos Ambrose drives for in the US? Could he head home to front his current employer's Australian operations?

.

He drives for RPM in a Ford.

Ambrose has said many times, on camera, that when he finishes nascar he'll retire to spend more time with his family and farm he has in Tassie.

If he did come back to V8"s it would be in a Ford because of his longstanding relationship with them over many years.

However, money talks!

big spending Gm teams?? How so?

sounds like a Ford supporter feeling hard done by and wondering when the next win, or even podium finish will be
