I'm looking at buying a new set of clubs before the year's end. Can people point me in the right direction as to where to go who to see.
I do most of my buying online (balls, clothing, accessories etc) so haven't much idea re retail stores. I'd rather get fitted and try the clubs out in person obviously. All thoughts/opinions appreciated.

Re: Best place to buy
best way is if you are a member of a club to actually take out a demo set and play a whole round with them.
Otherwise best for fitting would probs be either Drummond on South Rd, Mile End or House of Golf at Mile End Homemaker centre. Other place is Golfworld on West Tce, supposedly they have a fitting centre up stairs but I have never seen that.
As for prices just need to shop around, may be able to pick up a cheap demo set from a club if you want to save cash and happy to have slightly used clubs. Or ask if they have any left over old sets.
I picked up my r9 irons 4-S a few years ago for $500 brand new as the r11's had just come out.

Yep this the way to go. I buy all my stuff online. Best places are TGW (the Golf Warehouse) and Dallas Golf both in USA. Easy to find via google
People who bought this book also bought a stool and some rope. Unknown literary critic
