Favorite Arcade Games
I see there is a pinball thread somewhere, but i cant seem to find one on arcade games. I prefer these then pinball.. What are some of your faves?
I'm sure i will remember more as time goes on from my youth. These are some i liked playing when i was younger.
Double Dragon
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Loved this as a kid.
Skate or Die
Final Fight
P.O.W
Arch Rivals - Bit of a laugh
Gauntlet
Bomb Jack
Wonder Boy
some games of the Neo-Geo series were pretty good.
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter 2 - Has anyone ever seen SF 1?
Rastan - Used to annoy me because i could never get far, but i always pumped coins into it.
Ghouls & Goblins

Re: Favorite Arcade Games
I loved Gauntlet and Ghouls & Goblins.
Also 1941 and 1942 were faves.
And I became an expert at "Afterburner" - the fully interactive version. Flying an F-14 in a cage thing that moved and shuddered, etc.

Re: Favorite Arcade Games
Definitely Gauntlet
Used to love that at the Modbury lock ins - used to go there after work.
there was a game there called - I think - T-MEK or something.
Some space age hovercraft type things, and you'd play against someone else, sort of like doom but in these crafts. Was great.

I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Buck Hunter and all it's sequels. Contemplated resigning from work to take it up full time at one stage.
Tekken
Street Fighter
NBA Jam
Not many others grabbed me enough to take too much coin.

LOVE NBA Jam.
There's one (at least there was two years ago) upstairs at Rocket Bar on Hindley Street.

Re: Favorite Arcade Games
Used to love the very first.
Pong.
Was hooked on any pin ball game also, back in the 60's-70's....
"Queen Of Hearts" was a massive pin ball game of its time.

Re: Favorite Arcade Games
me= Wonderboy QUEEN.
Daylight
Gauntlet (except it was fairly expensive to play for its time) - I loved the way you turned into a bag of bones when you'd used all your lives
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Bomb Jack
on a fleeting visit through Keith a couple of weeks ago, I noticed a sit down game with Bomb Jack amongst MANY others included at the Morning Loaf bakery (which has moved and the quality of food has gone downhill but that's a story for a different thread)

Forgot about the ones from when I was really young.
Rally X (and then Radar Rat Race on Commodore 64)
Space Invaders
Galaga
Galaxians (took me 2 hours to collect fish & chips from Neptunes Nook in Salisbury one day when I wandered in and that was there!)

Donkey Kong, Scramble, Ninja Kid, Lunar Landing and Space Invaders.
Ahh, the days when you'd walk into Downtown and see about 200 Space Invader machines and nothing else.

Is Time Crisis too modern to be considered Arcade? I love arcade games with light guns.
