What "they" should invent
I'm sitting here with my laptop and I'm thinking that the glare is killing me...."you know what, they should invent a remote control to tilt my laptop screen".
What else should "they" invent?
What else should "they" invent?

A box or something, full of wires and stuff, that sits on top of your TV and allows you to pick up 20 odd more channels.
Just imagine.
No more missed cricket.

Quality Jabber...
Christmas lunch came along, and someone suggested a device to peel prawns for you... Although I thought that device was called a Girlfriend, there is probably something else....

Re: What "they" should invent
there is a prawn peeling device but it's crap I still peel them quicker then it. Easiest way is off with the head peel the shell off with the tail and put a sharp knife down the pop trail under the tap and all cleaned

a device on your mobile thay lets you see who the text is coming from before you get a chance to read it. I know that when you get a text, and dont read it you can then go into the inbox to see who its from before you open it, but it would be good to reject the message from whoever and it charges that person that is sending it

Re: What
I was thinking of Foxtel, not the 20 plus free to air channels.smac wrote:Yes, that free to air tv can be very expensive...
I'd forgotten some people may be using set top boxes on old TVs so the "box" reference lost me..

Re: What "they" should invent
Jaycar Electronics is a supplier that we deal with, and they sell the following, which you can pick up in Adelaide...
Standard Def set top box $39
High Def set top box $79
Now most older tellys won't support HD quality viewing, but the High Def box will at least give you all the channels, only three or four Adeladian channels would be HD though, so it isn't too dear...

Foxtel need a button on their remote so you can mute out commentators you dont want to listen to, but can still hear the others.
Would be handy at the moment for Melb/WB game so I could mute out Eddie.
