Why no love for Edwardstown moe?? Thought being new to the SFL, they wouldn't have had time to piss people off.

Sorry Mickey, but The towns have an affiliation with South Road CC, and if you go back thru the archives of ASCA posts you will understand my dislike of them.
I will say tho, with the addition of 1 B.Porter & G.Hardy to your coaching ranks, you as EFC, are my no. 2 side for this year at least in the SFL, well at least after round 1 thatis. ;)

Wash your mouth out moe... your dislike of edwardstown is probably matched by my dislike for them, their ground and their poxy blue jumpers....

I'd rather just forget I mentioned anyone. :) I made some supremely idiotic comments in my previous posts. I could perhaps forgive the idiocy, but not the banality. Anyway, I always liked Morphy Parks. I played a couple of seasons for them. I can't play contact sport any more because my neck is rooted and the doctors don't agree with me that Valium before a game is a practical answer to the problem (well, what else stops the muscle spasms? I ask you). But they probably never played footy before and they wouldn't understand, and they also might have had a hard time getting their head around this vertically-challenged girl sitting in their consulting office saying 'I'd like to get back into playing, but I'll have to ask you for some diazepam.' Anyway, I had a great time there when I wasn't getting my head stepped on, and I'm so pleased to see that the women's footy is continuing on strong there. I've seen what their preseason looks like and I reckon the only way is up from now on.

Pragmatically speaking, that bloody oval of yours could do with a bit of reshaping, not to mention the trimming of the trees at the western end (!!! Just realised that! Finally found a club besides Gumeracha whose oval faces east/west), but I always liked it that way - good home ground advantage. And the crowds are terrific.
