Great player in his day who was past it at this years world cup but virtually won a world cup off his own boot in 2003.

Although his style aggravated, it's the copycats that are more aggravating....

A pillar for the English team over many campaigns and an examplary person.

Who could forget the World Cup where he alone beat Australia in the final. Even the Australian kids idolised him and wanted to be like him. Can't say that about too many people

Absoulute legend, will never forget that kick in 2003, will go down as one of the all time greats of English sport.
