Another Gordon Armstrong Article re How the SFL Teams are Going So Far
"SOUTHERN Football League players, officials and spectators have had their mini break, courtesy of Easter and Anzac Day. So how are the clubs shaping up after two, and in some cases, three matches? We've asked the club coaches/football directors what they think at this stage of the season."

After 'ommitting' Flagstaff Hill FC within the 1st 2 online articles, Flaggies got 2 article Headlines this week to make up for it
FLAGSTAFF Hill stunned Southern Football League followers, Morphett Vale and maybe their own fans after a stirring two-point win against the Emus at Flagstaff Oval last Saturday.

THE SOUTHERN GRILL - Gordo calls for more giant kills
THE streets of Flagstaff Hill would have been a buzzing last Saturday night when news of Flaggies' win against the Emus filtered through. Ok, maybe not all streets but certainly the Flaggy clubhouse. It really shows the gap is quickly closing between the top clubs and mid-table sides. Now if we can just get Hackham up for a giantkilling win soon.

Messenger Cup back on
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 6210055398
BRIGHTON and Langhorne Creek are set to carry the hopes of their respective football leagues when Messenger Community Newspapers' annual pre-season cup match between the reigning Southern Football League and Great Southern Football League premiers resumes next year.
Brighton coach Sam Mahony said his club would be right behind the Cup match.
"Any chance to play as much as possible at South Adelaide (Hickinbotham Oval) would be a great experience for our players," he said. "We're very keen to test ourselves against Langhorne Creek."
....... The date of next season's match hasn't been finalised but it is expected to be played in late March at Hickinbotham Oval.
