agree, should be a good comp again this year, it will be interesting to see how the new franchise, Melbourne Rebels, goes as always it is a great watch

Never really followed a team in the super rugby, so I'm adopting the new Melbourne team, should be a great season.
''I can't think back to a time where Australia have been so convincingly beaten'' - Mark Taylor in regards to the 2010/11 Ashes series.
the Super 15s kicks off this weekend to start the Rugby season for the southern hemisphere
the games for this week are
Hurricanes v Highlanders - Wellington Rebels v Waratahs - Melbourne Blues v Crusaders - Auckland Brumbies v Chiefs - Canberra Sharks v Cheetahs - Durban Lions v Bulls - Joburg Reds v Western Force - Brisvegas bye - Stormers
I guess all eyes will be on the Rebels to see how they handle their debut game
and time for the aussie teams to perform, the last Oz team to win were the Brumbies in 2004 and the last Oz team to make the final were the Waratahs in 08 the South Africans have performed strongly over the last few seasons with the Bulls winning 3 of the last 4
It all starts tonight! Can't wait! Already warned the missus she's getting kicked off the TV tonight, she can't complain as she's had it for the last 6 months!

Dont actually think the force are that bad to be honest. Only young as a club and still finding their feet, they appear to have the makings for a successfull side in a few years time IMO

IF they keep them (Its a big if )
Force look like they might upset QLD Reds..
uinfortunately that wasnt the case Reds got up 21 - 20, scored a converted try in the last 5 mins and then hung on, Force could consider themselves unlucky as they were the better team on the day but thats the way the results go sometimes
