i heard tucker moved to KI last yr, and didnt play every game, is he still at the bombers this yr?
Haven't been in Adelaide for a few years just keeping tabs I guys I know still playing in the league. If he's not playing for Brighton it's a big loss for the Bombers.

Francis is talking about setting up a program and making Brighton a great club?? I thought they were always competative anyway. They should be playing with the big boys in SAAFL Div 1... but they don't have the heart for that! But then they should be wearing their own colours too... not the same as Valley's and the Sharks etc. Francis if he's on the $18k is obviously a mercenary - didn't PHOS want him back? Or couldn't they afford him? Or was he a dud? Does anyone know why he left PHOS other than for $$$? As a physio you wouldn't think he'd need the $$$ unless he's a lousy one? Any thoughts?

They were warned that he would interview well and Minervini wouldn't. Good to see all that media training in the AFL didn't go to waste.

Heard during the 2006 season from a PHOS member that the player's did rate Francis as a coach at all, thought he was a big tosser and there A Grade were thinking of forfeiting a game last year.
The committee had to talk the player's into playing.
Personally if the $18,000 figure is correct and with the above story, he wouldn't be coaching at my club.

Many reasons why he wasn't reappointed at PHOS that has been covered in other threads. Were a few disgruntled senior players but there was no threats of a forfeit or committee intervention to appease the masses.
