Judges don't make that call, that was just a shocker from the ref. I can only assume if he saw it he made his decision based on how much of a non event it would have been if finished there and then.

Yeah the ref was a shocker. He was often out of position and stepping in when not required. He let Green get away with too much holding aswell. I think if it was a legitimate fight he may of disqualified Mundine

That's what I thought too if it wasn't a bush league fight Green wins in the first round regardless.

Heard someone explaining the scorecard, 10-10 is correct for r7, Green losing a point that round doesn't make it 10-9, it stays 10-10 for the round. Same as r1, Mundine losing the point doesn't mean it would have been 10-9 without that, it would still be 10-8

So if they still score it 10-10 when does the point come off?

Mundine potentially looking to appeal the result
I'm sorry but this guy is a ridiculously talented sportsman, his sporting achievements make him 'the man' but Jesus he is an absolute A GRADE flog.
The deciscion didn't go your way it happens all the time in sport, get over it, in fact your that fortunate that the deciscion didn't go your way you can now go make another 10 mil or so and get even further limelight you crave for half an hour of work

Green has revealed that the ref was about to DQ Mundine but that he begged the ref not to and insisted the fight go on

How about they have a third fight to finish the trilogy and donate their purses to charity

Independent assessment verdict is Green won the fight convincingly on points
No doubt Mundine will continue to believe it's the colour of his skin that cost him the fight
