driving to victor sunday had MMM on radio for a bit,
blakeys "comedy gold" comes on the radio twice in 15 mins.... i turned it over and never turned back

i cannot say enough how much i do not find this guy funny

its pretty racist to be honest as well
and the laughs are so fake and forced, i dont think the people on the show with him find him funny either.

It is very racist and I have no idea how that is allowed to air.

"Blakey" never really had a chance with most people, for months they kept telling us how he would be joining MMM and how funny he is. If you need to continue to remind the audience how funny someone is, chances are they are not funny at all.

Apart from the racist panda crap there's the stuttering piss take of KG. I'm no KG fan but if it was me I'd need to be on some serious coin to not nail his balls to the wall.

At roughly 6.45 this morning I had the radio on MMM at work and heard the "unflogged" promo for the umpteenth time followed by a song that's NEVER been unflogged on their station.

Unflogged my arse. The only reason I listen to that crap is because I get sick of hearing Adele or Karmin on a daily basis on mix.

Adelaide radio as a whole is a joke RJM. :evil:

Least in the eastern states there are more choices......listen to it in Adelaide and no wonder we are seen as a "backwater". I dont think Blakey would survive over there!!!! :lol:

Agreed. I went over to the Deniliquin Ute Muster in 2010 with a mate to see Chisel play. (BOGAN ALERT)

The local station over there shat all over anything I hear in Adelaide. Variety and no bias towards a certain type of music. Unfortunately I don't remember what the station was or I'd listen online if it was available.

After reading this I thought I would tune in one day. Well, I wont be again.

Wednesday morning I lasted about 8 minutes, I heard the "Wang Wang and Funi" skit, I heard Ali Carle fake laugh and Blakey came on and did a very, very average bit about the Clickfrenzy site crashing. What a steaming pile.....

Then, then I gave The Rush Hour a chance in the afternoon.... :oops:

that JK is finished end of this year and Keith will be joined by jane reilly for atleast half of next year

I've always considered 5 AA to be very false and contrived with their on-air performance. I believe KG and Cornes are egotistical tools, Blakey probably could make a living as warm up man for Meatloaf.

from what i remember in the article there was nothing reported to be sinister about it

but i would think that it could be King COnlon, as he just dominates every interview

but given JK is going off-air and Conlon staying on, im sure there would be something happening behind the scenes

There is nothing sinister about it. Keith Conlon was the one that wanted JK there in the first place. JK is sick of the early starts. He will stay with FIVEaa doing other work.
