Nice innings by Connolly, Short very good (he needed runs to justify his spot) and good from Owen too despite his dismissal being a bit annoying/soft.

He was handy last night but surely we’ve gone past him and have better options?

The ground certainly didnt look was three quarters full
Non members were allowed in the members area too

First game back? It was his second ODI, his debut was in Perth on Sunday and he has been in decent form for Queensland and Australia A of late and was second in the runs in the 24/25 One Day Cup.

First game back? It was his second ODI, his debut was in Perth on Sunday and he has been in decent form for Queensland and Australia A of late and was second in the runs in the 24/25 One Day Cup.
Back as in the National team.
He’s always been a good state player but surely we have younger players available?
