I gave 5MMM a try it is terrible stuff all the commentators seem to be vacuous twits, Blakey pretending he's young even though he is over 50 with the "Hip" youngsters on MMM that's the best joke! As much as I can't stand, the PC, "holier than thou" Conlon I'll be turning back the the ALP Breakfast show on AA. At least something approximating intelligent comment occassionally arises.

Just because 5AA is aimed at nursing homes dont assume other channels trying to appeal to younger people are "Hip" youngsters. Triple M is about 50yo bogans!

AA listeners just admit that they are old

Triple M listeners are pretty much people who like their "steak and 3 veg".

I flick through nearly every station and tend to lean to 3D radio. If I get the chance its the iPod mix for me or I will stream through different radio stations from around the world through my iphone. (makes interesting listening)

Personally I cant handle Adelaide radio. Its terrible.

Like today. I had triple M on when the unnamed announcer proclaimed "Triple M....playing the unflogged songs" then played "We will Rock You" by Queen. (I love Queen...but why this??)

Triple M ...."simple radio for simple people"

i have only heard about 20mins in total the last 2 days

i really cant see Blakey being a success on MMM as he was on AA and i think the ratings will show and i think it will be very difficult for him to see the year out. i also think the others also struggle with his attempt at humour

i sometimes question why conlon has a co-host as for the majority of interviews he does himself

I disagree. At first I thought Ginever was a big mistake. He's actually growing on me though. The guy has a pretty quick wit IMHO.

As for Blakey, I reckon his value has decreased considerably since he moved to MMM.

i would say i dislike blakey more than anyone else on teh radio

I agree with yoy Squids - I don't mind Blakey, but we all have our limits.

Ginever is terrible - big switch off factor when I hear that idiot!
