I am genuinely fearful he will leave if not backed by Levy in the transfer market. He's put it out there publicly that he feels the squad needs a re-investment to compete on all fronts, basically a challenge to the owner, and it wouldn't surprise me if we haven't made any significant moves by mid-June that he may be off. And hard to blame him.

Villa back up into the top flight. Good to have a bigger club back up in the PL IMO.

The Championship play off game was terrific. Villa deserved their 2-0 lead, but Derby were magnificent in the last 20 minutes and could easily have grabbed an equaliser. You would expect all three of the promoted sides will have to invest heavily just give themselves a chance to survive.
