The change to the TPPS the other year hasn't helped to be honest - $400 was I thought a reasonably ceiling for most divisions. I'm still an advocate for sliding salary caps based on the division.

From a clubs perspective though, it's critical not to get caught up with what others are doing and stick to your limits.

Anyway, whatever, cricket season.. **** footy.

I really like this point, you'd want to have a fair resume to get 400 bucks for playing D6

Everyone is entitled to go where they like, and play where they choose... he aint going back to Para Hills out of love for his jnr club though.

My only disappointment - and I was pretty open with Mason & Terrel - was that he/they opted to go to a club in the same division, and money was the motivating factor, although having said that, also told them it's hard to begrudge a young man from getting the kind of coin they are getting to play footy.

Just gotta wish them well, and move on.

Some numbers thrown around for players within D7, 6 and 5 are ridiculous. Couple coaches on the move from D6 clubs as well.
