The Astros have finally hit a slump. Injuries and poor form playing part.

When the White Sox sweep you, you're struggling.

I know. The girl we went away with is a Red Sox fan (an actual fan, not a "fan") and when she said they beat the White Sox I told her that wasnt an accomplishment. Then we played them the next series.....

The Astros just traded 3 prospects to Detroit for Justin Verlander and some cash.

Verlander is currently pitching his first innings as an Astro.
Gonna an exciting World Series chase.
We also got Cameron Maybin from the Angels last week. Coach AJ Hinch purposely got ejected from the game to be able to go inside and make the call to claim him off waivers

Cleveland are having a good run at the moment.
How many have they won on the trot?

@Booney
Currently listening to the Astros Vs White Sox game radio coverage.
CWS pitcher Fulmer has gone 3-2 on the first three batters, walked two of them.
Looks like he's gonna be dragged in the first innings. They have someone warming up in the ballpen already.

Yep, he left the game after only one out in the first innings. Apparently he has a blister on his finger.

Yeah, listening to a few of the US sports shows and the Astros fans are very happy. Sounds like it’s a foregone conclusion that we get belted

I just bought into a Mojobreak case break of Topps baseball cards.
The way it works is they buy 6 boxes of cards, I buy a team (Astros) for $50 and every Astros card pulled is mine. Free shipping to Australia.
The break is live streamed, so you see what you get as he opens the packs.

This Cubs/Nationals game is pretty intense.
The whole Washington crowd were on their feet watching the 3rd inning.

I should have known, I reckon that’s 4 or 5 seasons in a row we haven’t got past the divisional series
