I can't find a replay of Lairds, but remember watching it thinking he might go for it.

I know I’m biased but fair dinkum, how does Laird get a week for that?

Newcombe gets off? Newcombes’ looks worse and knocked out Howe.

One is playing Collingwood this week, ones not, you do the math with Christian in charge

Very weird from both of them, looks like he went for the tockley first.

The "duty of care" argument about May was BS but if it applied to him then it applied to Newcombe
He had time to change from going for the ball to tackling Howe. Therefore he had time to consider his duty of care and avoid a head clash - same as May

As they said on SEN this morning; it's all over the place & being decided by dumb, dumber & dumbest

Except you're allowed to tackle and accidental head clashes are just that.
There isn't a caveat like with the bump where you're allowed to bump but only if you don't hit them in the head
Its not hard to work that out.
If Christian could've found a way to rub Newcombe out he would've. Perhaps he should've done you a favour and suspended Moore for the knee in the back the other week, you'd be a better team

"Duty of care" is not limited to the bump.
I dont have to work that out - it's a fact
